My Writing Journey
Hello! My name is Wenny Smart, a published author based in West Sussex, England, originally from Java, Indonesia.
I am a mother of twin daughters, Rosa and Zara, and motherhood has greatly inspired my writing journey. I have published seven books in Indonesia, and in 2024 I released my first English children’s book in the UK, Sandy Castle, a magical story about a talking sandcastle that helps protect the oceans.
I have now also published my second children’s book, The Magic Seashell, continuing my love for coastal magic, imagination, and ocean conservation.
I am passionate about creating stories that inspire and spark imagination in young readers.
